Expert talk and tour by Curator Rachel Jennings Students’ work will be added to the website’s Archive

Medieval Animals Heritage activities and engagement at the IHR History Festival. Many local groups present, including our Penny Bernard and Maison Dieu’s Martin Crowther.

Dr Diane Heath’s Expert talk on Canterbury Medieval dragons and Professor Sophie Page (UCL) discussed medieval monsters, animals and cosmos.

Wow! 80 sign ups, and many keepsake makings. We filmed the Masterclass by Wildwood’s Langan Turner; and took people on a Canterbury Cathedral precincts tour.

Our stand, staffed by student volunteers, was a resounding success, with a medieval animals Church safari and drawing activities.
